  • You and I are chosen by the God of the universe because of His great love - it has nothing to do with what we do or do not do. That is good news because we have all done things we know are wrong.

  • God was fully aware of everything we would do in our life and yet still chose us - He chose YOU!

A Few of My Favorite Phrases

“Who the son sets free, is free indeed”: We are made free by accepting Jesus free gift of forgiveness not by our behaviors. When Jesus frees us, we are truly, eternally free!

“In my father’s house, there is a place for me”: In the depths of my addiction shame weighed me down. Shame told me I had no place in God’s family because of my disgusting, repetitive sin. Shame told me I had no place to belong. I believed shame for way too long. When Jesus set me free, I realized there is a place for me - and YOU - in God’s kingdom!

“I am chosen, not forsaken”: We can claim our status of being chosen regardless of our behaviors! God has not and will not leave you alone or forsaken.

“You are for me, not against me”: God is FOR me. God is FOR you! Shame told me God was against me because of my sin and addiction. Truth reminds us that God is FOR us.

  • Our founding board was established March 13, 2025!

  • Thank you to our Board Members: Dustin Anderson (president), Jon Skudlarek (vice-president), Ryan Jeska (treasurer), Amy Anderson (secretary), Matt Eakins, and Tim Erickson.

  • Support Groups are Growing: Last week we added our second free support group. We now offer groups on Mondays at 7:00pm and 8:30pm!

Takedown: Inside the Fight to Shut Down Pornhub

🔙 Background: Traffickinghub was founded by Laila Mickelwait in February 2020 and quickly became a global movement of millions of individuals and hundreds of organizations. You can still sign the petition!

📔 Achievement: In 2024, Laila released her book “Takedown” which is the story of the fight to hold pornhub and its executives accountable for the perpetuation of child abuse, rape, and sex trafficking.

Did You Know? Sex addiction isn’t really about sex? When men and women struggle with compulsive sexual behaviors it is because there are deeper issues causing this symptom. Join our group study to learn more (Tuesdays, 7-8pm, starting May 6)!
